We’re proud to announce Phase 1 of Uchū Dōshi 🚀
In this foundational launch phase, we're focused on:
- Delivering a modular, secure, and developer-first software stack for mission operations, ground control, and simulation.
- Providing consultancy and integration support to help startups, researchers, and engineering teams bring space systems online — faster and safer.
- Collaborating with early adopters across the Globe to shape tools that work globally — across industries, languages, and missions.
Built on Philosophy
Uchū Dōshi is designed around a simple idea:
Everything is a system.
From satellites and sensors to simulators and databases, we use a unified structure that makes orchestration, simulation, and debugging intuitive and testable.
Our core tenets shape every decision we make:
- Secure & Reliable – Includes fault-tolerance and recoverability from the ground up
- Speed – Software should never be the bottleneck when physical systems are in the loop
- Modular – Systems are versioned, interchangeable, and composable by design
- Observability – What you run is what you see. No hidden state, no silent failures
- Simplicity – Avoid complexity unless it’s the only path to speed, security, or clarity
- Intuition – Build interfaces that empower teams across industries and cultures
“Black box behavior is a violation.”
“Prefer understandable over clever.”
“We enable collaboration across industries and cultures through smart software.”
“Software should never be the bottleneck with the physical link layer in the loop.”
Phase 1 Goals
- ⚙️ Launch core software with mission-tested architecture and simulation support
- 🧭 Guide partners through custom deployments, testing, and telemetry flows
- 📡 Develop supervised autonomy RF testbed for safe spectrum experimentation
- 🌏 Build for international collaboration — with multi-lingual support and modular APIs
Phase 1 is not about doing everything — it's about doing the right things well.
No over-engineering. No assumptions. Just tools that work.
This is only Phase 1 of our vision — eventually leading to affordable, full-stack mission solutions and in-orbit testing capabilities for global access to safe and transparent spectrum use.
